Before long, Wang Long found a cave. Calling it a cave was a stretch—it was really just a narrow opening a little over a meter wide, too small for a human to enter.

But for Wang Long, a long snake, it was no problem. He twisted his body and slithered inside. Soon, through the long corridor, he reached a darker, more spacious chamber.

The height seemed close to two meters, and the width over three meters. It was clearly a flattened stone cave. Beyond this point, there was no path—it was a dead end.

"This will do," Wang Long said without hesitation and began shedding his skin. His scales started to peel off, revealing a layer of keratinous snake skin slowly retreating.

Soon, two wild boars emerged from the dense woods, accompanied by several piglets. They approached the stream and began drinking greedily.

"So it’s the same wild boar family," Wang Long instantly recognized them and decided to hunt.

After shedding his skin, his copper-like scales became tougher and stronger, making it nearly impossible for ordinary fangs to pierce through.

One adult female wild boar, sporting two outward-curving tusks, licked the water, while the other male also began drinking. The five piglets drank happily.

"Good opportunity to start with you," Wang Long thought, timing his strike perfectly. He bit the ear of the adult female wild boar with his venomous fangs and quickly released.

The sudden attack caught the male wild boar, who was drinking, off guard. But upon seeing a giant python, it fearlessly charged back with its tusks.

"Is the second elder brother really this fierce?" Wang Long eyed the charging boar warily. The two long tusks were clearly formidable weapons.
