Upon hearing Ye Changsheng’s words, Tian Menghu was furious beyond measure.
“You brat, how dare you fool me!”
“What? You don’t think I can?”
After this verbal provocation, Tian Menghu wasted no hesitation and charged straight toward Ye Changsheng’s body.
“Bang!”
Ye Changsheng slammed down the Soul-Calming Gong with great force. The gong’s sound exploded, sending visible waves of sonic energy spreading outwards, directly overturning Tian Menghu’s soul form onto the ground.
If it had been any other cultivator, they might have tried to strengthen their soul, but Tian Menghu was a body cultivator—his entire focus was on his physical form.
In short, his physical defense was maxed out, but his magical resistance was zero. Against Ye Changsheng, he was utterly powerless.
Tian Menghu lay on the ground, looking utterly miserable.
“If you want to leave, then go. Who do you think you are?”
Ye Changsheng sneered coldly. “Weren’t you the one who kept wanting to fight me just now? Now that we’ve fought, you’re unhappy?”
Tian Menghu stared at Ye Changsheng with terror and asked, “What kind of dark arts is this? Our Qingyun Sect doesn’t have such techniques.”
“What? You just realized this now? Too bad it’s a little late.”
“What’s your name? Who exactly are you?” Tian Menghu shouted wildly.
“My name is Ye Changsheng!”
“Ye Changsheng?”
Ye Changsheng smiled slightly and continued, “It’s normal that you don’t know me. After all, your young sect leader has been busy chasing me these days and didn’t even know my name!”
Hearing this, Tian Menghu was dumbfounded and exclaimed, “It’s you! You’re the bastard who killed our Qingyun Sect elder!”
“Watch your mouth!”
Ye Changsheng raised one hand and dealt a heavy slap to Tian Menghu’s face.
“Smack!”
The slap sent Tian Menghu flying, crashing heavily onto the ground. Blood and broken teeth spilled from his mouth.
“Alright, if it weren’t for the fact that you’re already dead, I wouldn’t have wasted so many words on you.”
“I’ve said what I needed to say. You can be on your way now.”
Ye Changsheng raised a hand and struck down sharply.
Tian Menghu’s soul form shattered on the spot.
“Done!”
With his soul destroyed, Tian Menghu was now nothing but a walking corpse.

Ye Changsheng did nothing to Tian Menghu’s physical body and simply stepped back.
“Thud!”
Tian Menghu crashed heavily onto the ground, falling flat on his face.
“Who dragged him down here?”
The disciples standing nearby were stunned.
They knew Tian Menghu was a core disciple! The Qingyun Sect had fewer than a hundred core disciples left, and he was no match for ordinary disciples, let alone elders.
And now? He was easily knocked down by Ye Changsheng?
No, he was dead!
“Big brother, big brother, what happened to you?”
Ye Changsheng glanced over coldly. “Your big brother is tired and has fallen asleep.”
With Tian Menghu in such a state, none of the other disciples dared to act recklessly. They could only obediently watch Ye Changsheng leave.
Having revealed his cultivation openly before everyone, Ye Changsheng quickly set off with Su Qinqin, heading straight for the Qingyun Sect’s ancestral tomb.
The tomb was far from the sect’s central area, located on a solitary peak, where the Qingyun Sect’s founders were enshrined.
Before entering, the two quietly observed from the side.
Though a resting place for the dead, the site was exceptionally grand. The entrance was a massive stone gate, flanked by two coiled dragons, with a large plaque hanging above inscribed with four bold characters:
“Qingyun Ancestral Tomb!”
“Brother Changsheng, why are we coming to someone’s ancestral grave?” Su Qinqin asked curiously.
“These Qingyun sect dogs have been chasing us for days. Now that we’re at their home turf, it’s only right we dig up their ancestors’ graves and vent some anger!”
“Brother Changsheng, isn’t that a bit unethical?” Su Qinqin chuckled, “But I like it!”
Just as Ye Changsheng was about to move, an elderly sweeper appeared before the gate.
“Is there someone guarding the tomb?”
Having transmigrated here, Ye Changsheng knew that sweeping duties were often assigned to formidable elders.
He didn’t speak, but the system panel immediately appeared. A quick glance revealed the sweeper was a fifth stage Elixir Realm cultivator.
“Unexpectedly, the Qingyun Sect harbors hidden dragons and crouching tigers! Even a sweeper is so strong?”
At fifth stage Elixir Realm, Ye Changsheng had a chance to win, but it would cause quite a commotion, attracting the sect’s top experts, which could be disastrous.
Ye Changsheng and Su Qinqin dropped the pretense and walked out confidently, looking completely natural.
The elderly sweeper did not look up and only spoke as they passed by.

“This is the ancestral tomb. Unauthorized persons are not allowed entry!”
“When did the young sect leader’s people become unauthorized?”
After so many chases and battles, Ye Changsheng was certain of one thing: the young sect leader of the Qingyun Sect held a very high status, wielding what was essentially a pardon from punishment.
Of course, ordinary people wouldn’t dare use that title, but Ye Changsheng was no ordinary person!
The sweeper continued, “If that’s the case, what business do you have here?”
Ye Changsheng pointed to Su Qinqin and said, “This is the young sect leader’s sworn junior sister. He asked me to bring her here to pay respects to our ancestors.”
“Is there a problem with that?”
Ye Changsheng’s expression darkened, fully embodying the arrogance of those who bully others with their connections.
Seeing this, the sweeper slowly bowed his head.
“No problem.”
With no further resistance, the two proceeded into the tomb.
This place was essentially a cemetery, a resting place for the dead.
To Ye Changsheng, it felt like coming home. He moved swiftly through the corridors until arriving at the largest tomb chamber.
Inside, twelve graves came into view.
Buried here were top-tier figures. Even the tombstones were carved from jadeite, exuding sheer luxury.
“Are these the ancestors of the Qingyun Sect?” Su Qinqin asked, full of curiosity.
“Exactly.”
Ye Changsheng picked up a shovel and struck one of the tombstones fiercely.
“Boom!”
The tombstone shattered, fragments flying everywhere.
The suddenness left Su Qinqin standing dumbfounded.
“Brother Changsheng, what are you doing?”
“These old bastards mismanaged things, and their descendants have been chasing us. Today, it’s time we vent on them properly,” Ye Changsheng explained.
He beat the gong and drums loudly.
Where mourning music should have played for the dead, Ye Changsheng made it a lively celebration—one might have thought it was New Year’s!
Su Qinqin did not stand idly by either; she began dancing atop the graves...
