Volume One, Chapter 12: The Original Natal Chart

The man glanced at Guo Gang and asked, "Didn't you once tell me that you loved me the most? Why are there so many others? Can you give me an explanation?"

How could he treat him like this? He had given him his absolute best! Was this really okay? Didn't his heart hurt at all?

The more the man thought about it, the angrier he became. Fueled by this mounting rage, he suddenly found the strength to scramble up from the floor and lash out at Guo Gang. His punches were light and feeble, looking more like a childish tantrum than an assault, leaving the gathered onlookers bewildered.

Once the demolition compensation for your family's two apartments came through, he would have tricked you into giving him the money, and under his sweet lies, you would have handed it all over.
