Brothers and sisters, did you see that? Our streamer is just that formidable, that full of spirit. Even ghosts, when they see our streamer, scatter like mice before a cat.

This is what it means to have complete control, isn’t it? Although today was my first time encountering a ghost, I wasn’t afraid at all because behind me stands the mighty Master Jiang.

Although I want to say to the person upstairs, is flattery really necessary here? Yet I can’t help but give him a thumbs up—he’s right.

Now I understand what a blessing it is to be a fan of Master Jiang!

“Master, it’s not that we refuse to report to the Underworld. After I died, no underworld messengers came to take me down. It’s not that I don’t want to go. Big shot, I’m a victim too. I admit I possessed that person’s body, but in all these years as a ghost, I’ve never harmed anyone. Not only did I never harm anyone, I even saved some.”

Jiang Rui, of course, knew he wasn’t a malicious spirit. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be sitting here chatting with him; she would have sent him flying with a slap long ago.

“Why did you possess him?” Jiang Rui pointed at Yu Ping lying on the ground.

The middle-aged man’s eyes welled with tears as he pleaded, “Big shot, you’re misunderstanding me. That day, they came to dig foundations and disturbed my grave. This man has a natural Yin body. It wasn’t my choice to possess him; I was drawn by the aura around him. What else could I do? As for that big rat, it was my only companion in life. When I died, it died too. That’s all there is to it.”

The large rat kept chattering incessantly. Jiang Rui rubbed her forehead, feeling a sudden headache.

“Alright, since you’ve never harmed anyone, I won’t hold it against you. I will now open the gates of the Underworld to send you down. Whether you can reincarnate depends on those below. They will check your deeds in life. If you’ve done no harm, you’ll be reincarnated. But if you’ve done evil, you will suffer in hell.”

“Big shot, can you really send us to the Underworld?”

“What’s this? Are you doubting me or not trusting me? I wouldn’t deceive a ghost.”

The middle-aged ghost smiled ingratiatingly. “Big shot, don’t misunderstand. I was just asking casually, no offense meant. Anyway, thank you for your help this time.”

Hearing they could go to the Underworld, the ghost was naturally delighted. Jiang Rui didn’t bother with anything else and was eager to open the ghost gate and send them on.

“Alright, I won’t waste time. I will open the gates of the Underworld and send you off now.”

Jiang Rui began drawing talismans and forming seals in mid-air with swift, precise movements—her small white hands moving so fast they left afterimages.

The viewers in the chat couldn’t help but exclaim, “What’s going on? Is this free content? Mom, I’m making progress!”

“The streamer is beautiful and kind-hearted. The old ghost treated her badly, but she didn’t destroy him. Instead, she kindly sent him to report below.”

“I’m standing up for the streamer, full support!”

A rumbling noise filled the air, and suddenly an ancient, eerie gate appeared out of nowhere. A bone-chilling cold seeped through from the other side, enveloping the entire room.

The heavy gate creaked open slowly.

From within stepped a man dressed in a sharp suit. His hair gel was perhaps a bit too much, shining slickly under the light.

He was handsome, smiling as he looked around before fixing his gaze on Jiang Rui.

“Hello, young lady. Are you the one who opened the gate to the Underworld?”

“Yes. I’m sending these two souls down to report. May I ask who you are?”

The man smiled again. “I am White Impermanence.”

“Holy cow, did he really say White Impermanence? Is this for real?”

“Everyone’s saying the streamer is just milking us, calling this a White Impermanence, but this guy’s pretty pale. Does pale mean White Impermanence? I say, if you’re going to play tricks, put some effort into it. This is obviously acting, totally fake.”

“Exactly. If he were really White Impermanence, the streamer would have been done for by now. Interesting.”

“This must be computer effects, right? I’d pay fifty cents for this effect, no more. More than that and it’s a loss.”

“To those haters above, can you just leave? So annoying with your scripts and complaints. If you don’t want to watch, don’t. Just go.”

“I guess these people must be some die-hard fans of someone else, or they wouldn’t keep bashing the streamer here.”

Jiang Rui paid no attention to the chat. Instead, she studied the man before her—no, White Impermanence.

Is this really White Impermanence? He seemed different from the one she knew in her world. Could it be that there are several Underworlds?

“Don’t you recognize me?” Jiang Rui suddenly blurted out.

White Impermanence looked confused. What was this about?

Why would she ask that? Did they know each other? Or were they acquaintances? But no, he didn’t recognize her.

“Huh? Should I know you?” White Impermanence was puzzled. Jiang Rui found the situation frustrating.

“No worries. Since you’re White Impermanence, please take care of these two souls.”

“Of course, no trouble at all. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going now.”

“Thanks. Take care.” Jiang Rui waved as White Impermanence nodded slightly and led the two ghosts through the gate.

Jiang Rui took a few sips from the water on the table, moistening her throat. It had been a tiring day.

Setting down the cup, she looked toward the livestream chat.

“Everyone, that’s all for today’s stream. See you next time.”

“Streamer, don’t go yet! When’s your next stream?”

“Yeah, yeah, we still want to watch more!”

“I realized, without the master’s streams, how will I get through my days?”

Jiang Rui smiled, “You’ve all followed me, right? I’ll do my best to stream every day. Alright then, goodbye!”

She ended the livestream without watching the viewers’ recorded videos. The stream had gone viral online, even trending at number one. After all, they were ordinary folks; none had ever seen such a spectacle.

Jiang Rui ended the stream quickly because she wanted to settle accounts with Yu Wenqiang.

“Yu Wenqiang, come in.” She knew he and his mother hadn’t gone far—they were standing right outside the door.

Indeed, Yu Wenqiang and his mother had witnessed everything that happened inside and were equally shocked.
