Listening to Su Xiaoxiao, Chen Qi blinked in astonishment.
Then he lowered his head and glanced at the ranking in his hands.

“What’s wrong?” Seeing his unusual expression, Qin Mengxue and the others behind him looked at him in confusion.
Had something gone wrong with the results?
“It’s nothing.” Chen Qi shook his head, quickly put away the voting results, and gestured for everyone to sit down.
Behind him, the staff promptly took their positions.

He held up the voting results for everyone to see.

Chen Qi lowered his head to look at the rankings again. After hesitating for two seconds, he said, “To be honest, this ranking is quite unexpected—even to me.”
“Oh?” His words immediately aroused the curiosity of the six singers.

Chen Qi would certainly make good use of anything capable of driving both singers and viewers to the brink of frustration.

What the singers had not expected was that Chen Qi’s pause would last even longer than anticipated.
Even more unexpectedly, after a full three seconds of silence, a rapid, tightly wound piece of music suddenly rang out.
The long pause, combined with the background music, instantly made the singers feel tense.
