Chapter 105: Delivering Food
Shen Qing stayed in bed until noon before getting up. Glancing at her phone, she saw a message Gu Ting had sent half an hour earlier.
[G: What do you want for lunch?]
Shen Qing sat up, rubbed her eyes, and replied.
[No Such Person: Anything.]
Mo Wuxie was scrolling through Weibo when he heard a man’s quiet laugh behind him. Startled, he nearly jumped out of his skin.
“Damn it, Ting-ge, what are you laughing at all of a sudden?”
Gu Ting pressed his lips together, lifted his eyes to glance at him, and said coolly, “What’s it to you?”
“Fine, fine, I’m being nosy. Hey, have you seen Weibo?” Mo Wuxie opened the trending search about Shen Qing.

#Fans Cry Out: Shen Qing, Get Out of the Entertainment Industry#
“This is obviously someone stirring up the tempo!” Mo Wuxie opened the comments under the first trending topic, and every single one of them was shouting for Shen Qing to get out of the entertainment industry.
“Your little fairy’s getting cursed out this badly, and you’re not going to stand up for her?” Dongfang Cheng came in carrying his phone and saw Gu Ting still sitting there with complete leisure.
Was his heart really that big?
Gu Ting’s narrow eyes lifted slightly. “No rush. I’ll handle it all together in a couple of days.”
Mo Wuxie locked his phone and got up, throwing an arm around Dongfang Cheng’s shoulder and giving him a slap. “If you’re going to play, go big. Ting-ge already has a plan.”
Dongfang Cheng clicked his tongue. “That little fairy has boosted your crappy company’s visibility. Shouldn’t you at least pay her some ad money?”
“No money, no money.” Mo Wuxie pouted and let go of Dongfang Cheng.
Last time they’d asked Shen Qing to shoot the music video, they’d already given her twenty thousand, and that had been because Gu Ting’s face had earned her a little extra.
“Tch. Stingy.” Dongfang Cheng shot him a look, then saw Gu Ting get up and head out.
“Hey, Gu-ge, where are you going?”
Gu Ting didn’t even turn back. Only after he was already out the door did his voice drift in.
“Delivering lunch.”
“Tsk. So he’s going to deliver lunch to Shen Qing,” Mo Wuxie sighed toward the doorway.

By the time Gu Ting arrived at Tianyuan, half an hour had already passed.
“Woof! Woof! Woof!”
The moment he stepped inside, Twoie lunged to his feet and yanked at the hem of his pants.
Gu Ting froze for a moment, a little at a loss in front of the fluffy little creature.
Shen Qing glanced over and said flatly, “Twoie, come here.”
“Woof!” Twoie bared its teeth at Gu Ting and growled once before wagging its tail and trotting over to Shen Qing with eyes smiling into crescents, obedient as could be.
Gu Ting looked at the girl for a second. Her complexion was rosy and healthy.
He set the food on the table. “Wash up and come eat.”
“Mm.” Shen Qing patted Twoie on the head, and Twoie went off to play by itself, very well-behaved.
“When did you get a dog?” Gu Ting arranged the utensils and handed her a tissue to wipe her hands.
“I’ve had it since it was born. More than a year now.” Shen Qing sat down. She hadn’t eaten breakfast, and she was hungry now.
Gu Ting glanced at Twoie. “Oh. So its name is Twoie?”
“Mm.”
As if sensing that Gu Ting was looking at it, Twoie turned around and offered him its backside.
Gu Ting paused for two seconds. Was he actually disliked by this dog?
Seeing him stand there in a daze, Shen Qing followed his gaze and couldn’t help laughing.
Gu Ting came back to himself and looked at her, tapping the table lightly. “What are you laughing at?”
“Nothing.” Shen Qing quickly schooled her expression and lowered her head to eat with no trace of emotion.
After she finished lunch, Gu Ting cleared the table. Shen Qing had already moved to the sofa and played a round of God of War.
“Want to play a round with me?” Gu Ting sat beside her and took out his phone.
“No, you’re pretty good at it.”
The corner of Gu Ting’s mouth twitched. The girl’s excuse was a pretty good one.
Shen Qing didn’t care about his mood. She started another solo match, and before long she’d turned into a god from the opening move. In less than five minutes, the game was already won.
“Stop playing. Let your eyes rest for a bit.” Seeing that she had finished a round, Gu Ting reached over and took her phone.
“Mm.” Shen Qing let him, making no move to stop him.
Gu Ting smiled as he took the phone and weighed it in his hand.
Huh. This little brick was actually pretty heavy.
“Did you look at Weibo today?” Gu Ting set the phone aside and turned his head to look at her.
Shen Qing leaned back slightly, her eyes revealing nothing as she said evenly, “No.”
Gu Ting’s gaze fell on the girl’s neck, pale and tender, very slender.
“Mm. There’s nothing worth seeing on Weibo anyway,” he said, briefly startled, then quickly withdrew his gaze and shifted it toward Twoie.
Shen Qing licked her lips. “Weibo is pretty lively, isn’t it?”
