Chapter 53: No Tears Left to Cry
After all the dishes had been served, Chen Erpao was the first to pick up his chopsticks.
“Eat up! The taste is pretty good.” Chen Erpao’s face was wreathed in a brilliant smile from start to finish. Chen Liu didn’t think anything was amiss, but the four beauties found it peculiar. In their eyes, Chen Erpao was nothing more than a lowly security guard, and this meal was worth several months of his wages. Yet he smiled so cheerfully, without a hint of distress; even the best disguise would betray a crack, but the four saw none.
Had they seen the S-class Mercedes parked outside belonging to Chen Erpao, they would surely have been stunned. Driving such a car to work as a security guard was indeed bizarre.
The beauties ate daintily, with refined manners. While eating, Chen Erpao studied the four closely. It was his first time observing them at such close range—skin as pale as snow, and especially while eating, their enticing red lips parting and closing, the tender little tongue occasionally visible.
Though Chen Liu was a top-tier beauty herself, she paled in comparison to the likes of Nangong Yu and Murong Pei, lacking their ethereal aura, something no amount of dressing up or decoration could bestow.
After the meal, Chen Erpao graciously tipped the waiter one hundred yuan and paid the bill by card. Since he was already spending lavishly, he decided to play the part to the end—the extra tip yielded greater effect, as evidenced by Chen Liu’s increasingly affectionate gaze.
Nangong Yu and her companions were also here for the carnival party, but Chen Erpao dared not follow them. He had to be cautious, lest his little nest egg run dry.
The beach was bustling, filled with bikini-clad young women and beauties, a feast for the eyes. Though it was nighttime, the area was ablaze with lights, almost as bright as day.
Some played beach volleyball, others barbecued, and some simply lay on the sand, whispering sweet nothings. The liveliest spot was the center, where several handsome youths banged on instruments and sang passionately, surrounded by crowds who drank and danced with abandon, resembling an outdoor bar.
Chen Liu was about to drag Chen Erpao into the throng, but his heart suddenly raced—he spotted Wang Xuemei laughing with several female classmates nearby.
“Damn, wasn’t she supposed to be out shopping with friends? How did she end up at the beach party? Heaven, you’ve really messed up my plans.” Chen Erpao mentally cursed his luck. If Wang Xuemei saw him now, there’d be no way to explain himself. Luckily, she hadn’t noticed him yet—his quick wits had saved him.
“Let’s go swimming! I haven’t swum in ages,” Chen Erpao grinned, casting a glance at Chen Liu’s graceful figure.
“Alright, whatever you say.” Chen Liu agreed readily.
Not daring to linger, Chen Erpao hurriedly pulled Chen Liu toward the shore. There was a small shop selling swimwear; he bought simple floral trunks for himself and picked out a sexy blue bikini for Chen Liu.
Chen Erpao quickly changed, and seeing that Chen Liu hadn’t come out yet, he glanced toward Wang Xuemei—she and her friends had entered a beverage shop, easing his nerves.
Chen Liu emerged in her swimsuit, most of her skin exposed. Though the lighting was dim, her fair complexion was evident. Her voluptuous chest was half-revealed, the curves drawing attention, and her bikini bottom slightly bulged. Chen Erpao’s sharp eyes even caught a stray black hair peeking out. Her long, slender legs were straight and pale. One had to admit her looks and figure were excellent, irresistible to most men, though her flirtatious nature meant her body had likely been shared by many.
“Do I look good?” Chen Liu spun in place, asking.
“Very nice. Honestly, I envy Li Ziyang,” Chen Erpao replied with a calm smile.
A hint of delight flashed across Chen Liu’s face. She suddenly walked over and embraced Chen Erpao’s arm. “Sigh, I regret my decision now. He’s nothing but a narrow-minded, fickle, and incompetent playboy. The other day I heard him say that the Hong Kong government is cracking down hard on corruption, and it seems his father might be involved. If anything happens to his dad and he loses everything, what will he have left?” She leaned her head gently against Chen Erpao’s shoulder as she spoke.
Chen Erpao kept silent, thinking it best not to respond further.
Chen Liu wasn’t bothered by his lack of reply; she simply smiled.
The two walked toward the edge of the beach, where many young men and women played in the water, even beauties on par with Chen Liu.
With a swift motion, Chen Erpao plunged into the sea, feeling a refreshing coolness envelop his body. Chen Liu joined him, swimming freely.
Back in college, Chen Erpao had won swimming championships; as a special forces soldier, swimming was a required skill, and he’d often spent hours training in the water.
After about ten minutes, Chen Liu’s body suddenly dipped, pain flickering across her face. She cried out, “My leg cramped!”
Chen Erpao immediately swam to her, wrapping his arms around her. Her eyes flashed a bright smile, and she clung to him tightly.
“Thank you,” Chen Liu said with a shy smile, suddenly pressing her red lips to his. Chen Erpao didn’t refuse the sensual free service, responding passionately. Their bare skin pressed intimately together.
He savored the sweetness of her mouth, his hands roaming her smooth back. Soon, Chen Liu’s breathing grew heavier, her skin flushed with desire, and her legs crossed tightly around his waist like coiled dragons.
Chen Erpao’s hands slid down, gripping her soft, round buttocks. Bathed in the dim light and distant from other swimmers, their intimate actions escaped notice.
After a few minutes, his hands moved upwards, slipping inside her bikini to firmly grasp her breasts.
Though the sensation was pleasant, they felt a bit soft—perhaps from frequent handling by others.
Chen Liu seemed aroused, her body undulating against Chen Erpao’s muscular frame. Though he felt no emotional attachment, his body responded naturally, his arousal pressing against her bikini bottom.
Just as he was about to indulge in further passion beneath the water, Wang Xuemei appeared on the beach, clad in swimwear with her friends, walking right toward them. The fire that had been raging inside Chen Erpao was doused instantly, as if with a bucket of ice water.
“What’s wrong?” Chen Liu noticed the change in his body and was puzzled, though she hadn’t seen Wang Xuemei yet.
“Nothing, let’s go back to the shore. It’s not good to soak too long,” Chen Erpao replied calmly.
Though Chen Liu was curious, she didn’t press him, nodding in agreement.
“Hold tight, I’ll swim you over there before we come ashore. Let’s see how it feels to swim with a mermaid in my arms.” Chen Erpao, unwilling to emerge at that spot, quickly found an excuse, holding Chen Liu as he swam to another area.
A few minutes later, they came ashore on the opposite side, just as Wang Xuemei entered the water.
“Xuemei, why didn’t your silly guy come with you tonight?” joked Cui Ying, a beauty who’d appeared during Wang Xuemei’s competition earlier in the day.
Another girl chimed in, laughing, “Maybe he’s with another woman right now, haha.”
“Impossible. My silly guy isn’t that kind of man. Even if he’s with another woman, there must be another reason. You two are just lonely for too long, jealous of me,” Wang Xuemei replied with a slight smile, unfazed by their teasing.
“Nonsense. You think you’re special, huh? Lying in a man’s arms every day, hehe,” Cui Ying said with a mischievous grin.
Wang Xuemei immediately splashed water at her, shouting, “Dare to tease me? Let me show you some real fun, hehe.”
Three women, one scene, frolicking joyfully in the water.
After coming ashore, Chen Erpao and Chen Liu quickly changed clothes and headed to the center for the festivities, downing several beers. Chen Liu insisted on going to the restroom and dragged him along to escort her. He accompanied her to the door, then smoked nearby.
Several minutes passed with no sign of her. Chen Erpao mused, “Could it be that my antics in the water left her so aroused she’s dealing with it in the restroom?”
“Xuemei, hurry up! We’ll go change and wait for you,” came a familiar voice. Chen Erpao turned—wasn’t that Wang Xuemei’s best friend? Wang Xuemei herself was walking ahead, heading toward the restroom.
“My goodness! Is this even fair?” Chen Erpao was startled, his agility saving him as he leapt behind a tree, calming himself.
But then his heart raced again. Chen Liu emerged from the restroom just as Wang Xuemei approached. Whether they knew each other, Chen Erpao wasn’t sure, but they’d seen each other that morning, and Chen Liu had clearly noticed Wang Xuemei sitting beside her. If Chen Liu mentioned anything, Chen Erpao would be doomed to sleep on the couch tonight.
Neither woman expected to meet here; Wang Xuemei was equally surprised. Though they weren’t acquaintances, their earlier encounter had left a lasting impression, thanks to a certain someone’s involvement.
Wang Xuemei smiled politely and walked into the restroom without a word. Chen Liu brushed past her, conflicted, wanting to reveal she’d come to the party with Chen Erpao, hoping for an interesting reaction. Yet, for some reason, she held her tongue, much to Chen Erpao’s relief as he watched from a distance.
The combined chapters add up to two installments. Since updating from out of town is inconvenient, two chapters are merged into one. Everyone, don’t wait up tonight—the weather’s cold, so rest early.
