The people surrounding them naturally stepped aside upon seeing the newcomer, allowing her to enter.

Everyone’s hearts skipped a beat as the sharp click of high heels echoed through the hall. They immediately regretted staying to watch the commotion; now, the other party had even drawn a knife.

Mu Qingxi stared unblinkingly at Wang Feiyan.

At last, Wang Feiyan stopped three meters away from Mu Qingxi. Having been beaten by Mu Qingxi before, she bore a slight shadow of fear and instinctively maintained that distance.

Looking at the person standing before her, Mu Qingyang’s expression darkened. He never expected that the one who once called him brother with such familiarity would be the very person to betray them. He deeply regretted not heeding his sister’s warnings.

“Heh heh heh, what a pleasure. I never imagined you, Mu Qingxi, would fall into my hands,” Wang Feiyan said, her smile radiant with delight.

After waiting so long, finally having her arch-enemy in her grasp—how could she not be thrilled?

“Qingyang, we can’t fight them today. Later, don’t resist. Whatever they say, just obey, alright?” Mu Qingxi whispered to her weak brother.

Only after seeing Mu Qingyang nod did she feel somewhat reassured.

“I wonder what Old Hou and the others are up to. It’s so late, and they haven’t shown up yet. Could they be held up?” Mu Qingxi thought anxiously, her worry mounting.

Wang Feiyan laughed even louder at Mu Qingxi’s silence. “Wu Li, take these two siblings away. I’ve been waiting a long time for this. Ha ha ha...”

Wu Li placed his hand on Wang Feiyan’s waist and told the members of the Little Knife Society, “Brothers, take these two away.”

With that, the two began to turn and leave. After a few steps, Wu Li turned back and addressed the people in the hall, “It’s best not to say that we took them. You know what that means, heh heh heh...”

Mu Qingxi didn’t resist. Supporting her nearly fainting brother, she followed the men away. She found it almost unbelievable that Wang Feiyan had taken away the people she despised without lifting a finger. Yet, she knew well that with her brother in such a state, escape was impossible.

Besides, even without her brother’s presence, she could not have safely slipped away from the Little Knife Society.

Struggling to move forward, Mu Qingxi muttered under her breath, frustration bubbling over until she finally cursed aloud, “Damn it, the so-called Little Knife Society—you think you’re filming a movie? Are you some underling of Zhu Yuanzhang? It’s really disgusting.”

On one side, the drowsy Mu Qingyang heard her curse and managed to pull a strained smile. “Yeah, with their looks, even Zhu Yuanzhang’s Little Knife Society wouldn’t accept them!”

Hearing her brother’s retort, Mu Qingxi nodded in agreement and added, “They’re more like the 'Peach Valley Nine Immortals' from *The Smiling, Proud Wanderer*—ugly and pitiful. Don’t you think?”

Seeing the once lively and spirited brother reduced to this state, Mu Qingxi’s heart ached deeply. She choked back her tears and whispered, “Qingyang, it’s all my fault. If not for me, you wouldn’t be like this.”

“Sister, what are you saying?” Mu Qingyang struggled to speak.

“Qingyang, enough. I’ll take you to the hospital. You can’t stay like this. Wang Feiyan wants revenge on me, not you.” Her brother was too weak, and she couldn’t let this continue.

Gazing at the arrogant Wang Feiyan ahead, Mu Qingxi took a deep breath to steady herself. Then, she turned to a nearby young man and said, “Please help me call Wang Feiyan. I have something to say.”

The young man looked at Mu Qingxi with a sly smile and said, “Heh, I know what you want to say.”

Then, pointing at Mu Qingyang, he added, “You want us to let him go, don’t you?”

Mu Qingxi remained silent, simply watching the young man, waiting for him to finish his sentence and reveal his true intentions.
