Chapter 6: A God of Wealth Arrives in the Entertainment Industry (6)
Indeed, Fang Jinnian was also waiting for news from Jiang Youyou, since the two families had not yet openly fallen out. Yet, after all, she had said those things to Jiang Niannian; it was time to teach her a lesson, so she would not forget her place.
“Was the video sent?” Fang Jinnian rubbed her brow, recalling the events of last night, the irritation lingering.
“It was sent, President Fang,” her assistant, Song Xian, hesitated, wanting to say something but holding back when he saw Fang Jinnian’s less-than-pleasant expression. He wisely chose to keep silent.
At a time like this, saying anything nice about Second Miss Jiang might drag him down as well.
He only wished for a quiet, uneventful night of overtime.
But soon, the night became anything but ordinary.
Fang Jinnian received news that Jiang Youyou had hired an army of internet trolls.
“President Fang, should we…” Song Xian trailed off.
“No need. Let her play her little games.” The video was already sent; no matter how much she fussed, she couldn’t hurt Niannian.
“Yes,” Song Xian replied, keeping his gaze steady and saying nothing more.
Half an hour later, someone claiming to be disgusted by Jiang Youyou bullying newcomers released a video.
In the footage, Jiang Niannian was pushed, stumbled forward, nearly falling, spilling red wine as she did. At that moment, someone hurried toward her, and the wine landed squarely on them.
From the video, it was clear Jiang Niannian hadn’t done it on purpose; the wine was spilled, apologies were made. Yet, even after Jiang Niannian explained, Jiang Youyou remained aggressive, making her seem unreasonable and unwilling to let the matter go.
The onlookers commented that this was an easy scandal to digest.
The moment Jiang Youyou saw the video, she knew it was Fang Jinnian’s handiwork. She no longer felt like playing their game.
Jiang Youyou manually edited a post on Dabbo, flung it online, then turned off her phone, went upstairs, entered her bedroom, and picked out her outfit. Moments later, she stepped out, beautifully dressed.
Meanwhile, her Dabbo post exploded.
Within a day, Jiang Youyou’s Dabbo had over ten million views.
Jiang Youyou: I do not accept apologies from those who have ambiguous relations with my fiancé. However, to thank my fans for supporting me, here’s a link—ten thousand Watermelon phones, first come, first served, free of charge. Good luck to everyone~
Gluttonous Ghost: What the hell! I just went for breakfast—what happened?
Oh My God: Ten thousand Watermelon phones? That’s a huge giveaway—can it be real?
Call Me Otaku: Am I the only one who noticed the word ‘fiancé’?
Singing Anxiously to Sadako: Upstairs, you’re not alone. Damn, my sixth sense says there’s a major scandal here. Waiting online for the drama.

As soon as Jiang Youyou reached the second floor of the company, she heard her manager Nan’s lion-like roar: “Where is that brat Jiang Youyou!? Not answering her phone! If I find her, I’ll tear her apart!”
Outside the office, silence reigned. Everyone watched their gold-star manager lose her temper, not daring to utter a word.
Then, Jiang Youyou, humming a tune, opened the office door under the strange gaze of everyone.
The office’s soundproofing was excellent.
No one outside could hear what was happening inside. They could only see Nan, previously furious, directing a barrage of words at Jiang Youyou—clearly nothing pleasant.
Yet after a short while, Nan’s expression grew stiff, her endless tirade halted, and she looked at Jiang Youyou as though she’d swallowed something foul.
Then, Little Star Jiang emerged from the office unscathed, in high spirits, even greeting them as she passed.
